As I had a strong concept in my head to start off with to develop the restaurant around the dialect of Yorkshire (also to suggest that the place would be somewhere to have a good conversation as always over food) this was something which I did extensive research on until I found the Yorkshire man's motto which contained the line 'Eyt all, sup all, pay nowt' This was crucial to my development as it was a clear yet subtle way of adding the county to the restaurants theme, has deep routes and meanings within the county, clearly linked to the theme of eating and would also give me the opportunity to explore the use of typography within branding more.
After this I began to think about what research I would need to undergo for the visuals, products seen within a restaurant and colours. Below is a selection of research which has inspired my visual development and understanding of what is expected from this brief.
